TAMA ACQUIRES 10% OF KANENGO TOBACCO PROCESSORS LTD (KTPL) AS AT THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS THE EVENTUAL ACQUISITION OF 25% IN THE NEXT 3 TO 4 YEARS.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   THE INVESTIMENT IN KTPL WILL OPEN OPPORTUNITIES FOR VALUE ADDITION FOR THE EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT OF TAMA MEMBERS.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   2011 TOBACCO MARKETING SEASON LIKELY TO END THIS NOVEMBER 2011.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   TAMA will hold Elections in February 2012 in all its Council Areas to elect new office bearers for the next five years ending 2017.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   TAMA delegation recently attended ITGA Annual General Meeting in Arusha, Tanzania which was held at Mount Meru Hotel from 23rd to 25th October 2011.
